Tecnoborsa is a non-profit joint stock consortium company (SCpA) , with a majority public holding, whose shareholders are Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture, trade association and local companies. It was founded in 1997 with the task of promoting the development, regulation and transparency of the Italian real estate market.

Furthermore, it carries out study and research activities in the field of real estate economics.

Tecnoborsa manages the Rome real estate stock exchange and promotes the establishment of other stock exchanges at local level  studying systems, tools and guidelines for the interaction of the various subjects that operate in the panorama of real estate supply and demand.
